Ithaa Undersea Restaurant

Set five metres below the surface with 180-degrees of panoramic underwater views, Ithaa (meaning ‘pearl’ in the Maldivian language of Dihevi) serves contemporary Maldivian cuisine in a set menu composed of 23 different dishes over four courses and a wine concept dedicated to Champagne. Back to Top

Two metres below sea level, the Wine Cellar is the setting for dégustation dinners hosted by the island’s Sommelier and Executive Chef who match a five-course gourmet menu to hand-picked wines. From world-class diving amidst some of the Indian Ocean’s finest under-water scenery to a Robinson Crusoe style picnic on a deserted island, the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island provides a host of recreational activities to suit all tastes.

Trips and Excursions: Excursions to neighbouring islands, snorkelling safaris, dolphin watching trips, big game fishing and sailing are the perfect way to explore the Indian Ocean. Visits to local fishing villages and the Maldives’ Cultural Centre on Dhangethi Island offer an insight into traditional Maldivian life.

Rangali Water Sports: Adrenalin junkies can try their hands at wind surfing, kite surfing, catamaran sailing, jet skiing, water skiing, parasailing banana rides, knee boarding, wake boarding and snorkelling. Others wishing to simply relax can discover the beautiful lagoons and vistas surrounding the island aboard a canoe, peddle boat, glass bottomed boat or water bicycle.

Fitness & Wellbeing: A two-storey gymnasium hosts regular aerobics, Pilates, meditation and Tai-chi classes and daily yoga takes place on the resort’s purpose built over-sea Yoga platform. Fitness fanatics can enjoy a unique cardio programme incorporating activities as varied as ‘Island Boot Camp’ and ‘Run Rangali’. The resort also houses a tennis court, a huge infinity-edged pool and running track, with personal trainers on hand to provide tailor-made programmes.

Diving

The resort’s dive centre, managed by Sub Aqua, offers diving for all levels; from Discovery Dives and PADI courses to guided excursions. South Ari Atoll is renowned for its aquatic life just moments from the resort and a 10 minute journey
onboard the resort’s luxury boat transports guests to the Maldives’ premier dive spot, Manta Point.

The Spa Retreat

Is a self-contained resort-within-a-resort situated over the lagoon on a secluded tip of the main island. 21 spacious Spa Water Villas, each with their own private treatment room, adjoin a central spa comprising nine treatment rooms, five private pavillions with sauna and steam room and Jacuzzi or private plunge pool, an organic bio-dynamic spa restaurant, hair salon, boutique, juice bar, sun deck,
relaxation area and a new natural herbal dispensary.

The Over-Water Spa

Set on stilts 50 metres off Rangali Island over the turquoise lagoon provides the ultimate hedonistic escape for couples plus a range of exclusive Valmont facial therapies. Within the traditional thatched Spa, three of the four treatment rooms have glass floors providing entrancing views of the colourful coral reef below, whilst a secluded Serenity Spa deck with open air Jacuzzi provides the perfect finale to the seductive spa rituals on offer.
